Ukrainian week in Lund
Coincidentally, our NFGL community in Lund had three (!) Ukrainian events this week (frankly, other students were also involved, but there were a lot of the Si scholarship holders who participated).
So, we started with the Borsch party on Friday, organized by the students studying International Human Rights Law at Lund university. Competition between Polish and Ukrainian Borsch was arduous, but really delicious. Both versions were worth to win, but eventually the majority chose Ukrainian one as a winner.
Borsch is a national Ukrainian soup, and if you never tried it, you definitely should do it!
Then, on Tuesday, we had a meeting and fika with the first deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Inna Sovsun, who is also the Si and Lund University alumni!
And finally, on Wednesday three Visby scholars from Ukraine, Natalia Melnychuk Iegor Bakhariev and me were panellists of the Panel discussion on the crisis in Ukraine, hosted by Jus Humanis. A lot of NFGL Lund members were present.
